Thursday has officially taken the place of Friday as my favorite day of the week. All my favorite people come to the shop for Stitch-n-Bitch, so I get my much-needed social time. The really neat thing about having a kid in school is that they do nifty schmaltzy stuff for you for Mother's Day. Friday, Caleb brought home a geranium he planted in a Dixie cup (they grew them from seeds! Wow!) and a flower he painted with a corny verse that was enough to bring me to tears. Here are a couple of pictures of our eggs. Caleb and I dyed them. He dipped them in one color, then colored with the clear wax crayon, and dipped them in another color. I did the polka-dot one.

We had a visit from Uncle George and Aunt Lindi, who have the esteemed status of being among the favorite aunts & uncles. George & Caleb are especially good pals, and we feel so lucky for that. They're headed back home to Arkansas, and we're trying to get caught up on house work
